Number sequence starting at a specific number
« on: April 27, 2020, 02:35:39 AM »
Hi! I followed the locker numbers tutorial to generate a number sequence. What I'm trying to do is a time line on a floor with the years counting up, so I have 4 sequencers instead of 3. The thing is, I want the sequence to start at 1921, but can't think fo how to do it.

Also, I want the numbers to be perpendicular to the spline. I tried a transform modifier after the compose, but that just rotates each segment in place.

thanks!

Hi
I have modified tutorial files.
I could not make rc generate Geometry from 1921. I had to generate lower number items as well, I just made them a lot smaller, You can make them invisible material as well.

Hope this helps

Hi Rokas, I0m sorry but I'm using Max 2018, could you save it as an older max version?
Also, how can i rotate the whole composed number 90 degrees?

thank you!

Well, I think it`s about time to introduce a new Null Segment in Object section for Counting/Termination/Spacing purpose.  ;)
