open spline thickness in railclone?
« on: February 13, 2025, 12:23:11 pm »
Hi
I want to create a paved path using RailClone from an open spline, copied as a reference from a master spline. The spline is curved, and the terrain where the path will be projected is hilly. What would be the best method? Is there a way in RailClone to give thickness from the center of a spline, like Forest does?
I started with a 2S array, adjusting the Y size, but it doesn't work from the center of the spline. I also looked into macros, specifically road and pavement, but I'm having trouble changing the tiling type.
Thank you for your help

Hi Pierre,

There are many possible setups - the easiest might be to define the Y Size of the array and use the Y Offset to center it by dividing that value in half.

I hope this helps.

Best regards,
