I have a pretty large stone wall built and I have it attached to some surfaces, with boundaries. Everything is looking great, however, the pattern is starting and stopping at the same point, so I am seeing it repeating. I have a lot more wall to use, so I would like to kind of pan the wall around, inside the boundary. I hope this makes sense. In the photo, I would like to move one of the walls along the y, staying on the surface and using the boundary.

Hi!

You should be able to create this effect using the Clipping Area > Expand feature which enlarges the bounds of the array but does so inside the clipping spline so the overall size is not affected.

In the attached sample file I've added a Randomise Operator to this value so that you can quickly reseed the style to get different variations, I've also added a parameter so that you can adjust it on the Y axis after it's been enlarged in case it's helpful to further align courses.

I hope that helps, please let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks!

Paul
