Title: parametrics windows
Post by: RL1396 on March 18, 2020, 11:49:14 AM
Hello,
I have a problem with the parametrics windows. When I copy them and adjust them to the desired dimensions, everything works as it should but if I save, they disappear the project to reveal the letters RC.
Why?
How can I do?

Hi
Your file opens fine for me. Only when I clear the Spline from clipping Spline Input, I get these floating RC icons.

Also, upon opening Your file we found that You have been infected with 3dsmax virus.
Please read through this information (https://forum.itoosoft.com/announcements/attention-alc-and-crp-viruses-in-3ds-max!/).

Indeed, I had a virus that I was able to remove. Thank you
On the other hand, the problem of parametric windows still exists. I duplicate my pending windows and when I record, the windows disappear and the letters RC appear.
However, at the beginning, everything works as it should. It's just at the time of registration that it happens.

I noticed one thing. If I delete the spline selection in the railclone and select it again. It starts working again. Why? I do not know.

Do You use Instance or Copy when copying ?

It does disappear if You use instance. But works fine with Copy.

I use instance

Use Copy. Instancing mode makes RC share the same clipping spline. Using RC as instance sometimes confuses me. I tend to avoid it.
