Missing Segments on Copied Free Object
« on: December 24, 2020, 03:31:50 PM »
Hi,

I have wooden sunshaders as a railclone object on a modular buildings roof. I have set it as a free object and mirrored and cpied the modules. All seems ok on viewport but if i render, some shader parts are missing. Can anyone help about that?

Hi,
Hard to tell without the scene file. Did you try to add some modifier on top of RC (Edit Poly) before mirroring?

Nope but i grouped it with other Poly and free RC objects. I did not add any modifier to that group either.

Hi,

Sometimes, when using the Auto-Align feature and having the RC object rotated, the algorithm might have trouble identifying some areas. Resetting the rotation of the RailClone object & performing the Realign of the base object usually helps.

In case of any further troubles with it, as it's really hard to say, what's happening exactly in your scene just from the provided screen-shot, if possible, please feel free to send us your scene (ideally simplified and containing just this problematic object(s)) to helpdesk@itoosoft.com to check it here. In case of a big file size, please use a web sharing service like WeTransfer. Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
