Precision Error When Far From The Origin
« on: March 09, 2019, 09:16:11 AM »
Railclone makes precision errors when far away from the origin (missing and randomly rotated, bent segments), is this something to be expected? For solution I create the objects near the origin and then convert them to base objects and move to their proper positions.

Hi,

If possible, please send us your scene to have a look at it here. Ideally, would you mind to try to reproduce the problem with a minimal scene and send us such a scene? Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Hi,

Thanks for the provided scene. It's related to the interpolation of the base spline - disabling the Editable Spline > Optimize feature and raising the Interpolation Steps value to 32 seems to fix it. Optionally, adjusting the RC object under Style > Curve Steps option helps also. Attaching screen-shots.

Hope this helps you and if there will be anything more we can help you with, please let us know. Have a great day.

Best regards,
