Railclone 3 : very slow starting rendering with linear 1S
« on: August 21, 2018, 08:20:35 AM »
Hi,

I think i have a problem since the last update of Railclone.
In linear 1S mode, the rendering start very very slowly (like 1min / 1min30) for starting the first pass.
When i disable de RC object (linear 1s) the render strat normally (10s)
I have other RC object (Array 2S) and they do not affect the rendering speed.
May be someone have a quick tips to solve this problem thanks !

My config
Railclone 3.2.0
Win-10-pro (amd rizen 1950x)
GTX 1050
RAM 64 Gb
3DS Max 2018 + corona 2.0

Besrt regards

Hi,

It probably depends on RailClone object. Maybe it has instancing disabled, or it has many deformed segments which cant be instanced.

It would help us to identify the issue if You could send us your simplified scene

It is not a complex object (low poly) and instanced engine is enable.
I send you my 3dsmax scene on your helpdesk email via wetransfer
thanks !
