Hi guys,
I can't seem to figure out why Railclone color isn't working in my scene. Let me explain:
I have a walk-in closet I need to populate (I have attached a test render, plus screenshots of my setup). I have created 3 RC objects that use one divided-up spline with 3 different mat IDs randomly applied (one for shoes, one for handbags, and one for piles of folded clothes. I intentionally built the original piles of clothes with RC because I want each pair of pants to have a different map applied to it (either denim or tartan or plain color etc). I have a material applied to both segments and Railclone objects (see screenshot attached). As it stands, each pile is assigned one of the 9 RC color maps, instead of each element. I have changed from Item to Element in the map options, but no difference. I even played around with the material node within RC, but I don't want different materials applied...just one with RC Color.
I specifically didn't nest my RC segment piles as I know RC Color doesn't work with nested objects.
(I will attach my material settings in following post...only allowed 4 attachments here).
As you can see, RC Color is working just fine with my shoes and bags, but I realise that they are separate segments, and this is a different scenario.
What am I missing?
Thanks,
Terri

As promised, here are my material settings. Plus seems like my render didn't attach in previous post.
