Title: Railclone corner segment not facing the correct way on inner corners
Post by: chrisc0le on October 11, 2024, 11:37:21 am
Hi, hopefully someone can explain this to me as I've used convoluted work-arounds in the past for this issue.

Please see attached image to explain the issue. A single corner object works on what I call outward facing corners, but the inward facing corners are the wrong orientation to align with the default wall segments. Hopefully this is a simple fix.

In fact I'm having issues aligning all parts of a quixel/ megascans wall collection. The segments available are in white below the green RC preview.
It would be great if someone has done this before & could explain how it all fits together.

Thanks
Chris

Hi Chris,

You can position the correctly rotated Segment using the Vertex Angle within the Conditional Operator (https://docs.itoosoft.com/railclone/style-editor/operators/conditional). I've attached a sample scene that demonstrates a possible style setup. I hope you find it helpful!

Best regards,

Ahh I wasn't far off. I've been trying to use a conditional operator, but not quite like this.

Many thanks Michal
