RailClone Facade_Nesting windows problem
« on: July 11, 2018, 03:25:06 PM »
Hi,
Facade similar to image...
...for now, just making vertical divisions...

1. Can`t make nested window frame to properly adapt to the evenly segment (always get scaled model)
2. How to place Glass panels below / above window frame (I assume Compose operator...)

tnx

Thank You Rokas... (My apology, I accidentally modified your previous post, it should not be possible to do this  :( :o)
...but...  ;)
I know that L1S will do the job but I was hoping to do similar with A2S for future variations for Nested_Frame_Window (double, splited, etc)
EDIT:
There is still problem about scaling window frame. Please try to change #division or Window Height.
EDIT2:
And, please try to increase size of spline.
Best Regards
Dragan

Hm, as I can see, Nested segment can not be `recalculated` to retain Master behavior and can only be scaled to fit `nested space`. I tried with L1S simple frame but no luck, L1S frame was also scaled...

Rokas, please can you confirm if this is RC limitation so I can go for another solution or I`m doing something wrong. Thank you.

Unfortunately, It can not.

You can experiment with linking 2 RailClone objects by wiring them.
It is powerful technique but it has it's pluses and minuses too.

 :(
If that would be possible nesting  RC segment will be a whole new dimension.
Thank you.

One more question.

Would it be possible to do some kind of simulated generator for making a simple window frame within Compose Operator?
e.g.
1. we have calculated values for side/top/bottom segments from evenly distribution/height parameter..etc
2. place Compose operator in Group Mode
3. place/translate/rotate segments to make window frame

And if this would be possible HOW TO DO THIS  :D? I thing most of the people still have problem understanding Compose behavior.
Whether Compose operator can act in such dynamical way?

Thank you.
