Road - fit to the surface

Hello experts, please I have quick simple question

I have seen your teaser on youtube about "road fit to the surface". Perfect job. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXyfCfhJsKI
Unfortunately i cant reach same result please where is problem please.. I have tried many variation but I cant get your result :( and my terrain is still pretty smooth

please another question, you are experts in industry how we can do crossroad please? or any attached different roads please? I am totally new with this please.

Hi.

In this style there are few aspects that You need to deal with.

I get better results with flat spline ("Line007" instead of "rcl_roadObject"), plus setting RC Curve steps value to like 500

Surface is not detailed enough- it helps if You add turbosmooth with 4 Iterations.

There were few attempts to tackle crossroads with RC but this is just not the tool designed for that.
Anyway maybe this technique can help in some cases.

you sorted it that's unbelievable..
You resolved all the problems I had.

Thanks a lot to clarify where the main problem was ..

Basically
- "curve steps" in RC and
- "turbo smooth" terrain don't have enought details  and
- "spline straight horizontally"...
