Newbie try a hexa paving
« on: September 25, 2016, 01:32:03 PM »
Hi all,
Using forest pack for a long time, just trying Railclone now.
I understand the basic rules but I'm having issue with a simple hexa paving work.

Here are the result I should have (see picts one)
Hexagonal paving with light and dark randomized.

I watched the flooring tutorial, but I'm bit lost..
see my results.

Thanks for any help.

Think this might help...
just the padding in both directions is not 100% accurate I think...

Easy one !  :D

- Segment has a negative padding of 1/4 of his size in X
- Transform is  : Y size of the element / 2 (you could do that with arithmetic operator)
- Conditional is : segment X counter  = multiple of 2

Now you can generate Settlers of Catan custom maps :)

thanks a lot to you both.

Indeed the answer was in the padding and the conditional operator X row "multiple 2".

I got my powerful paving system :)
