Railclone segment shift?
« on: March 15, 2019, 01:09:41 PM »
Hi guys,

I'm not new to railclone and would consider myself and intermediate to expert user. However, I cannot for the life of me work out how to do this!

I've attached my scene. My problem is that I need to shift the tiles along the x, so that the grout/gap line up with the floor tile gap. Using padding does not work, and using X translation creates gaps/overlap at the start/end. Anybody got a solution?

Any help very much appreciated,

Tim

Hi Tim,

A possible option might be to adjust the X Fixed Scale of the first Segment as needed, by for example the Conditional Operator (Segment X Counter Equal to 1), but most probably the easiest and precise way, in this case, would be to add "corners" - vertexes in exact positions and use these to "reset" the position by the Rules > Bevel Mode > Reset. Attaching the modified scene.

Hope that helps.

Best regards,

Michal,

Wow, I never thought of that! That's perfect, exactly what I needed.

Many thanks!
