Railclone - sidings
« on: January 22, 2018, 06:07:50 PM »
Dear iToo,

Some months ago I created wooden sidings for an apartment building with RailClone.  I used a simple 2 sided array with a clipping area.
Now we have to make some changes to the project, and after reopening the .max file I saw that all my the RC-sidings are changed/wrong.

I tried redrawing the clipping areas, merging the RC's from older versions of the building, ... It doesn't help.

We are working with RailClone Pro 3.0.9, 3DsMax 2017 and Vray 3.60.04.

In attachment I added some screenshots.

Best regards,

Maxim Fastre

Found out that the Z-offset parameter in the RailClone was the problem.  When changing it to 0 the clipping area works fine.  Any other value and the clipping area gives a strange result...

This is a known issue. We'll release a RC update with a couple of days, with this problem fixed.
