Railclone windows
« on: July 29, 2024, 08:43:05 am »
Hey! I’m working on creating some Alaric windows with railclone to speed up house modelling. I’m currently working with the tutorial files from the parametric window tutorial, is there any was I can specify a number of vertical and horizontal beams (Muntin) which are placed in the glass area? I’ll attach a photo highlighting what I mean.
And also, I can’t seem to get the mid sections which divide the windows up horizontally to work by using markers, any help would be appreciated!

Hi,

Thanks for your question. You might find post #89 on this thread useful as it includes many more modern  techniques for creating windows that should be able to do what you propose. https://forum.itoosoft.com/tutorials-27/parameterising-windows-with-railclone/msg34962/#msg34962

I hope that helps.

Hey, just wanted to say thank you for the forward to that post, the scene file worked perfectly for me once I swapped out the geometry and adjusted a few settings!
