2S Array | perpendicular to X Spline
« on: September 12, 2019, 02:23:34 PM »
Hello there,

again with newbie question, is there a chance to make a boardwalk wooden floor perpendicular to X spline yet still random in planks length. ( basically perpendicular to what I´m capable to do now )

The shape of the surface is not simple in a plan ...

many thanks

Viktor

Hi Viktor,

When using the Clipping Area > Extend X/Y Size to Area, adjusting the Z Rotation parameter to 90º should do the trick. In case of any further troubles with it, please feel free to send us your scene. Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Hi Viktor,

Thanks for the provided scene. It can be archived by using a "nested style" - in a very similar way like in this tightly related post. I've sent you a modified scene by email. I hope you'll find it useful.

Best regards,
