Title: random noise texture
Post by: muoto on July 26, 2020, 02:38:28 PM
Hello,
i would like to have a noise texture that is randomly placed (different scale, offsetà on copied objects with railclone.
Any ideas ?
I have the impression Vraymultisubtex doesn't work (or new in latest version?)

I tried also the new uvw random from vray5, but no luck

Thanks

Well, actually, i want the noise pattern to be different on each of there rectangles. Here you see that the noise pattern is actually going from one rectangle to the next one.

Hi,

If You are using procedural noise map, then You can use Explicit Map Channel to make randomization work:

Hope this helps
