Complex rooftop
« on: June 19, 2019, 10:01:18 AM »
Hi everyone. Is it possible to be achieved a result similar to the one shown in the image?
Red Arrows are indicating where I need to place a tile with a side finish.
Thank you in advance for any support!

You can try to make a side finish with separate Linear RailClone Array and setting to apply it only on some material ID of the spline.

But they will overlap each other causing defects in the render, right?

Likely it wont be suitable for close-up render

What would be a good solution in the case where we have a close shot?

You could create two splines- one for side tiles and one for main tiles. They can have different sizes. Then use Lonear Array to place Your Perimeter tiles.
You will need to play with Perimterer tiles to align correctly for Your shot.
