RC & FP freezing Max

Hi

Max is freezing/crashing when trying to access the Library.  This seems to happen every other time, sometimes every time we access the library.

With FP, accessing the  library through the modifier panel seems to work better but RC just crashed with me when using this method.

This is happening with everyone in the office.  It hasn't happened with me until this morning.

Max doesn't wake up.  It can be left overnight and still be frozen.

Any ideas?

Does crash generate a minidump file for You?
It could be in this folder:
%localappdata%\CrashDumps
%localappdata%\Temp

Could You please archive it and send it to us?

If there is no *.dmp file then You can generate minidump Yourself using process explorer
During the freeze, run the Process Explorer, find the "3dsmax.exe" process, select it, go to Process > Create Dump > Create Minidump... and save the file.


Compress it and send using wetransfer or similar sharing site. We will take a look into it.

Please make sure You are using 3dsmax with latest service pack. Otherwise we can't analyze it.
