90deg fit
« on: April 20, 2022, 11:03:42 AM »
Just a quick question in case I missed something :-\
Simple setup to fit some segments to 90 Deg Arc and nest to the corner.
I can`t get full alignment/adaptiveness to fit a full 90 deg pie segment. I did not commit a lot of time to find a solution but I have tried usually  Curve steps, Spline Normalize, Segments size...
Any tip would be great...

Hi Dragan,

Internally all splines are being converted into poly-lines (composed by straight segments) and this causes that positions and tangents along the spline are not "continuous", but discrete values with these small differences. You would need to add short straight lines to the both sides of the arc to make these parts perfectly aligned. For example, the Sweep modifier has the same problem. I hope that clears it up.

Best regards,

Dragan
