Developing an all in one railclone building system at the moment which works great. Only issue I'm finding is with the UI and being able to select the nodes I want properly. I've organised my style using the notes system to keep things nicely contained though now with so many overlapping wires, sometimes I'm unable to select the notes item behind the wires to move everything in one go, even with what appears to be a large amount of space free that I think I would be able to. I can get around by then dragging away my box of parameters and splines away as a workaround, though seems to have a bias to selecting the wires over the notes item. Sometimes I add disabled transform nodes as a workaround to add fake dot nodes to help organisation though I was wondering if it was possible to implement this feature in the UI to help with this or a wireless system?
1 - Wireless nodes view toggle - only view wires connected to selected node chain to minimise onscreen clutter. Could be useful as a toggle to debug more complex styles
2 - Adding a dot item like in Nuke or Substance Designer, allowing me to better organise the cables into straight lines to avoid overlaps (you gave me a grid snap function ((thanks)) but now my cables are all over and my OCD is going wild)
Let me know your thoughts or if anyone else interested in the idea
I've attached a few screengrabs to illustrate the above. Selection Issue image showing even if I were to try and click the notes in that large area it tries to default to the wire instead.
Thanks again guys, looking forward to RC 5!
