Real scale mapping
« on: July 22, 2016, 06:57:19 PM »
Hi,
I would like to create railclone object with uvw mapping controled by real scale texture. I found this:
http://docs.itoosoft.com/display/RAILCLONE/4+-+How+to+Control+Matrial+IDs

"You can either set the size of the box map using the Length, Width and Height settings, or if you are using materials with real world map size settings simply turn this option On"

Everything is clear but it doeant work for me...
Please find attached sample scene
Screen 03 shows what i want, and screens 01, 02 show what i have...
Thank you for any help

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us. It would appear there may be a bug in RailClone where the Z box mapping is not being calculated correctly. We'll look into this and issue a fix as soon as possible. Until then, the workaround shown in the attached file forces UVs to work correctly, but be aware that styles made with this technique may not work once we issue a patch to fix the problem.

Thanks again and apologies for any inconvenience this has caused.

Paul
