Visual Grouping of Nodes
« on: October 05, 2016, 10:51:39 AM »
Hi!

I made some "advanced" RailClone Librarys for myself a few month ago - with advanced i mean using more than a few nodes, no difficult calculations and expressions etc ;)

Now i haod to make some achanges and finetuning on these RCs and it took a really long time to get back into the architecture of the Libs. And i'm asking myself is it possible to group some nodes or put them into a "WrapperObject" AND make this groups/wrapper visual in the editor? You'll find attached a example of what i mean.

Hi,

We totally agree. Actually, it's something currently being implemented in the upcoming RC3 ("Note" nodes will be resizeable and the background color can be set). Currently it's under development, there are still many things to implement / tweak and it'll take time until any public beta testing version will be published. Thanks for your comprehension.

Great!!  :) :) Are these "note" nodes background nodes or do they "stick" to the lib nodes they belong ? Don't mind ... anyway a good helper node!
