sequence cause overlaps at corners
« on: July 19, 2021, 11:54:25 PM »
I'm working on a simple pipe creator using a linear 1s node. The setup is in adaptive mode and has filleted corners

I'd like to use a sequence node to create options for the straight parts of the pipe.

The issue is the sequence node creates nasty overlaps at corners.  ... and seems unusable / buggy

There is a max 2022 file if anyone has ideas

You can try nesting...

Thanks for answering Dragan, that's generally a good solution. Just to explain why you get the issue. Adaptive mode only works if all of the segments are the same length on the X-axis.

Another alternative is to scale just the segment nearest the corner using the Scale Final X Segment macro. Demo file attached in case it's of interest.
