Rendering VrayProxy as vieport quality - Vantage?
« on: November 12, 2024, 09:37:51 am »
Hi,
I searched the forum about the vrayproxy rendering problem. There is a 2 year old post that addresses the same issue, that vraypraoxy only renders as Vieport quality, not initial proxy data. I am having the same problem with Vantage now. So is it still on the list "TO DO"?
I use VrayProxy becuase scene file size optimalization (saving time, viewport performance)...I might will have to use Xrefs if proxy is not supported?

How to save memory and keep railclone just doing instances of objects? (no deformation, no cuts...) Only uncheck the the Bend and Slice? I need to save as much memory as possible.

Thanks Tomas

Hi Thomas,

This issue has been addressed in the latest ForestPack 9.1.5 update. We’ll look into what can be done for the RailClone plug-in, though please note that its integration is slightly different. For instancing, as you mentioned, you can either disable the Deform > Slice & Bend options or simply enable the Force Instances option.

Best regards,

Tomas

Thanks for repply. I havent't updated to 9.1.5 version yet, but I meet the problem with railclone, not with forestpack. Or am I missing something? I run RC 6.3.3 and FP 9.1.3 and vantage 2.5.1 (because 2.6 needs bettter CPU instructions then I have)
