Rightclick - Select missing
« on: September 28, 2022, 05:54:56 AM »
Hey,

I upgraded to 3ds max 2023.2 and the latest RC Version (5.2.7).  Unfortunatly the quadmenu entries for rightlicking an RC object an selecting the segments and base object are missing.
Any chance to get them back?

Thanks

Hi,

Please try copying this file:

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\RailClonePro2023\Contents\scripts\startup\railclone_utils.ms

to the "scripts" folder in your 3DS Max installation (usually C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2023\scripts), and tell us if that solves the problem.

Hey,

thanks for the help.
Copying the file to the Startup Folder worked.

Glad to know it worked.

In recent updates we moved the plugin to C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins, which is the suggested location by Autodesk.
But for a few customers, startup script is not launched correctly from this path. We don't know why, because it works fine for most of installations.
