Skew Mode? (Request)
« on: February 04, 2020, 05:55:42 PM »
I see in the latest update 4.1.2 there were changes which made it possible to do fences like this...

Whilst this can help a lot in situations like fences, this unfortunately this still requires evenly or corner points to hide the joins from what I can see?

For example say I have an armco profile, and my post is in the middle of the armco segment, this will now place correctly. If I have no middle poly details I can let the armco bend and it'll work fine. However if I want to model details, and have the two armco pieces join correctly, I don't think this is possible with out having them bend.

Basically, if there was any chance of a skew mode option this would really help. The skew would go from the cross section at the start and end of the segment, and allow two segments to join up and linearly interpolate between the two points?

We see some accuracy issues. We will investigate what can be done to improve the result.

Thanks for reporting.
