Any good way to do roof ridges and valley's?

Hi -

Ridges shouldn't be too hard. I'd just use a linear generator and draw a spline for the ridge. Valleys may involve some adjustment of the tiling on either side. Do you have an image you could share? We're working on new libraries for this feature now.

Thanks!

Paul.

OK, I think in this case you'll have to draw open splines for the hips, ridges and valleys. You can then use a Linear generator with the tiles/lead geometry to populate those fairly easily I would imagine. For valleys, at least here in the UK, the tiles would normally finish short of the join so you may have to adjust the boundary splines for the tiles to pull them back a little.

Thanks!

Paul
