Corner issue with sloped facades
« on: October 24, 2018, 02:25:33 PM »
Hello,

I am building a facade similar to that (attached bellow). In the generator I have a default element for the glass and evenly element for the distance between the mullions. The facade has to be sloped and I rotated the geometry via X rotation option in the generator. My question is, how to fix the corner issue where the two planes of the facade do not intersect correctly. I tried making the generator mode to adaptive but it made a third plane on the facade where the intersecting corners should be.

Thanks for the help.

That is "X rotation " limitation. You will have to use alternative method to build this facade.

What method should I use instead? Every alternative method is fine as long the sloped corner is completed. The facade is curved at some places and then makes sharp corners. There is nothing I can think of and it's been an issue in the office for few days now.

Best regards

You can use slanted wall as geometry to begin with:
