hi guys
i need to do this scalloped profile underneath the kitchen benchtops and these benchtops are also curved - is it possible to set up a railclone for this while retaining proportions around the curved areas?
a couple of examples below.

Hi,
That should be fine, just wire the scallops to the Generator's Default input and make sure that you turn off Deform > Bend in the Segment Node's settings so that they don't deform to follow the curve.
Best,

Thanks Paul - however it doesnt really connect on the edges.
See attached.

Please try changing the Y Alignment for the Segment to Top. the issue at the moment is that it is aligning using the center of the geometry.
I hope that helps,

Thanks Paul but its still not working for me? see attached. I also tried changing the pivot of the base object - couldnt get it to work - its overlapping.
Any chance you can do it and send the scene here so i can study what you did?

Hi,
Well, because of the way how the shape is done (by a Spline Chamfer modifier applied over a Rectangle), any “bending” would be deformed. After applying the Normalize Spline modifier and enabling the Deform > Bend option for the used Segment, the Adaptive mode seems to work just fine. Please find attached the modified scene. I hope that helps.
Best regards,

ahhh right - that makes sense now thanks so so much
