Title: Scattering Proxy Cache Buildings

Hey,

Doing some R&D for a new project and had the thought of pregenerating all my building designs to an external proxy cache and then scattering the resulting proxy through forest pack or railclone as a single asset, instead of collapsing or proxying the whole building when done. I'm not sure if this is possible or even advisable but RC/FP seems to just render one of the segments in the file as opposed to the whole mesh, so just seeing if just an unsupported thing I'm trying to do  8)

Hi,

Sure, that’s possible, but instancing only works at the top level. Any inner objects will be treated as meshes, so make sure to turn off the 'Use Instancing Engine' option in Display > Render for those RC objects before generating the Proxy Cache.
