Title: Segment position (evenly)

Hello,
I created a building facade with "linear 1S" (glazing interspersed with a vertical metal element)
My question is the following :
What would be the best method to position the vertical elements knowing that their spacing varies and must respect a plan provided by the architect?
I have not found anything on the forum and I do not think I have reached the end of the possibilities of RailClone.

Upcoming RC4 version has this new input - "Marker" which You set up manually using "RC Spline" Modifier:
