Sidewalk line align
« on: October 22, 2025, 10:04:39 pm »
Hello,
I've using RailClone to create sidewalk ,I had problems expanding the width but hopefully I have found on this forum same problem from somebody else. I am using same scene on my example but I can't align gaps from the curb and sidewalk it self. As for dimensions the curb is 150cm long, gap 1 cm, and slab 300cm. Any ideas which parameters could fix this?

Thanks

Dusan

I forgot to ask, is it possible to insert holes for the trees somehow inside style editor? I am using  curb and sidewalk 2 from the library.

Thank you,

Dusan

Hi Dusan,

In theory, when using widths of 150 cm and 300 cm, these parts should align. Would you mind sending us your scene so we can check it on our side? Thanks in advance.

Regarding tree placement, I’d suggest checking some of the Sidewalk presets that include adjustable tree basins - for example, “1 Flagstone Paving tree basins” - feel free to adapt it as needed.

Best regards,

Thanks, please find my scene attached.
Is there a value that rises one side of the sidewalk creating a slight slope?

Thanks for the provided scene. It looks like the issue is caused by the adaptive algorithm when used together with an offset on the Y axis. Please find attached a modified version of your scene, where I slightly adjusted the alignment of the segments and disabled the adaptiveness, which seems to help. To create the slope, you can adjust the X Rotation value of the corresponding generator — I’ve set it to just to demonstrate its functionality, but feel free to tweak it as needed. I hope this helps.

Thank you. When rendering I am facing another issue. I have strange render results, geometry is ok. Did anyone else had this issue?

Thanks,

Dusan
