Title: Simple sequence has gap between objects?
Post by: QG3556 on July 12, 2018, 05:16:34 AM
Trying to learn RC Pro and could use some help.

I've created a very simple sequence of two objects, and more or less standard settings, but i get a slight offset between the objects that gives a gap in one end and an overlap in the other. If I increase the counters on either these align perfectly between themselves.

Nothing unusual with the pivot point and the objects are just regular boxes.

Any ideas what would create an offset like this?

Hi,

It is hard to give You any tip without testing it on Your scene. Please attach or send it to us (https://forum.itoosoft.com/faq/how-to-send-a-file-to-itoo-software/) it so we can see exact issue in Your case.

Hi
reenter "0" at X_Translation for Batten segment (this value was not `0` but it could not be shown because of large unit scale)

You could also set smaller unit scale.

Best Regards

Dragan, that was brilliant! Thank you very much, it never occurred to me that it could be a unit issue.

Thanks again also for the fast help.

 ;D

I had similar issue in some other CAD software when importing large scale blueprints form AutoCAD.
As soon as I opened the file, I knew what the problem was  8)
