Slide tiles on X axis?

Hi all,

Probably a very simple answer to this problem I'm having but it's only my 2nd day using Railclone and I'm still getting to grips with some of the basics.

What I'd like to know is how can I get a tiled wall to shift along the X axis (spline) so that the tiles start in a place of my choosing but still cover the full wall? I'm used to using floor generator and there are options in there to offset tiles on x or y so that I can align the grouting when 2 walls meet.

The image attached probably shows this much better than my explanation.

Apologies if this has been answered before but I couldn't find it when searching the foum.

I've found it, Bevel Offset.

How do I bevel offset on the Y axis? Can't see the option to do this?

Hi Anthony,

Are you using Clipping spline and Extend X/Y Size to area to create the array? If so you can use the Expand value to increase the size of the array on all sides and then use Bevel Profile to make final adjustments to the X axis.

Thank you Paul that works perfectly!

Just out of curiosity, if I am not using the clipping spline and specify an X and Y, how would I offset the tiles to move up the wall?

Offset Y and Offset Z appear to be doing the same thing, moving the whole block of tiles in the same direction. I suppose the answer would be to use the clipping area approach when tiling walls?
