Spacing not even
« on: May 10, 2017, 11:44:45 PM »
Thanks in advance for your help. How come the spacing, on the start/end is not even.

If I have a circle spline, how can I have completely even spacing?

Thanks!

Hi,

There are many ways how to set it up. For example, the Evenly - Adaptive (Distance Mode only) option is used to ensure the spacing between Evenly segments is identical (it calculates the number of times the full Evenly distance can be distributed along the path then divides that number by the path’s length to generate a new equalised spacing).

Also, for example by using the Default - Adaptive mode and adjusting the X Size of used Segment without scaling it (or using Padding), you can archive it too. Attaching screen-shot.

I would suggest you to check the chapter 7 - Master Spacing Modes of our Next Steps with RailClone guide. I hope you'll find it interesting and helpful.

Best regards,

Hi, in RailClone 3.0.1 beta we have fixed a bug with Evenly and closed splines.
Now it should work as expected in your scene.
