placing segments according to a drawing?
« on: November 05, 2018, 05:43:23 PM »
Just starting with railclone but already getting some interesting results for some curtain walling systems. I can create a randomised pattern of solid and glazed windows and also create a sequence from these. I've attached the style of building im messing with, which is great for concepts but not accurate to a specific design. I was wondering if there was a way to accurately create a curtain wall to a building elevation drawing on this sort of scale? Like a way of visually selecting which bays were solid and which were glazed? I think a sequence would be too long here and a mess to change. Maybe a shared clipping plane could be used with duplicates of the style, one for the glazed and one for the solid? Or is there a built in method for this?

Really enjoying railclone and its possibilities.

Hi

Style looks good. Nice work! Unfortunately RailClone has no visual editor. You need to define rules using node editor.

Thanks Rokas. Good to know. Maybe in railclone v4!
