Spline with multiple IDs and dealing with corners?
« on: April 09, 2019, 02:21:30 PM »
Hi,

I've only just started using RC and very impressed so far.

The one thing I'm having a problem with is dealing with corners greater than 180 when using 2 or more spline IDs and 1S Generators.
I'm assigning the IDs to better clip the resulting geometry but having issues with corners not filled in. Trouble is I don't want to assign an additional ID just to deal with them separately (the corners).
You can see in the screen grab that the shallow corners are fine they just overlap. The greater than 180 degree ones though I would like filled in.
Is there a way around this? I may be missing something so would appreciate any pointers on dealing with it.

Thanks

You can try adding a null (empty) segment as your corner piece. I believe that will work.

Thanks for the prompt reply mabulsoud.

I've just tried that but it doesn't seem to have made any difference.
Should there be any additional corner settings to make it work or are mine OK?

It doesn't seem that was the way to do it. Sorry about that. Instead you should be using a conditional node to filter the Mat IDs instead of the array limit. Please see attached max 2018 file.
