Spline alignment and RC library defaults - bug?
« on: May 29, 2013, 09:20:34 PM »
Hi Carlos, originally was having this problem with 1.x, but it still remains so I figured I'd make a new thread.

Basically, when I create a new RC and pick stone curbs (for example) and my path spline, the RC object is aligned wrong, every time.
I just want it to start the geometry at my spline, and not cross over that spline.  I have a small example scene I will try to upload, too.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but why would the defaults make the curb be offset from the path spline?

(end result is my curbs are backwards and reversing the spline or reversing in the RC dialog don't help...)

Thanks in advance

This specific library item has not the Pivot properly aligned. To fix it, open the Style Editor, select the Segment and set Y Alignment to Bottom.

Anyway, i just fixed the library preset. It will included in the tomorrow update.
