thank you very much.
how do I define the height of the pyramid?
As I understand, the expression defines the offset and the x spline (rectangle) defines how broad the pyramid will be at its base. if I want the height to be lower, where can I change it?

There is "Y size" parameter for that.
Try:
Offset -2.0 cm
Y size: 150.0cm

ok, got it.
it was under parameters in the modify panel.
but this is strange. it is not stacking the bars on top of each other but slicing them to achieve the pyramid look?
What I would need is to offset the bars in a certain way down the spline..

Please make a sketch or even better- max file with Your desired configuration (even if made manually without RC)

ok, sorry for the miscommunication.
here is my sample.
I made two.
The chocolate bar is 6x4 rectangles, but if I stack the pyramid of course everything overlaps. I dont care about the overlapping too much. But maybe one could use one rectangle to build the pyramid.
The other pyramid is a little bit more complicated.
Whatever works is fine with me...
thanks for the help again!

After quite some attempts I only managed to put up pyramid like this.
Not really faster than You would do it manually.

wow, thanks.
probably doing it manually will take some time, depending on the pyramid size.
how do I get the top part to be 6x4, if I may ask?

Hi again. Paul got involved in this case and we got a solution for You.
Macro where You can change top level X and Y segments and how many layers down You want to have. Also an overlap option to fill some holes.
