Title: Standing brick in running bond

I'm looking for a way to get standing bricks / tiles in running bond as can be seen in attached image.
I want to use an array2S because I need to follow a curve over X.

Now I figured this would've been asked before. And I'm sure it has been.
But I can't for the life of me seem to find it using the search function. Wueries such as 'standing' or 'vertical' yield no result.

I know I've seen it before and I can almost taste the solution, but it seems to stay just beyond my grasp at the moment.
I am almost ashamed to be asking for help on this one. :-[

Any help would be appreciated though.

Your setup works perfect. Thanks for providing it. I'm going to break this apart, see why I couldn't do this myself and learn from it again.
