why are ther coplanar planes in my railclone object?
« on: December 04, 2013, 01:33:38 PM »
First of all, I really like Rail-clone. It the biggest time saver ever!
But off course there are some things I don't understand:
I constructed an escalator. I know I can also construct it with a 2d array but then it only works on a single spline, and I need a lot of them. So i build it with multiple 1d arrays in one railclone object. Everything, sort of, works. But I get coplanar planes in the curved section where the escalator bends down (or up), I don't understand why. Why isn't the geometry sliced?

Can someone help me out? Thanks in advance.

As far as i can see, the overlapped faces are already in the segment's mesh. Please, would you check it ?
