Need Help with Flooring Pattern
« on: June 28, 2017, 12:31:36 AM »
Hello Guys,

probably this has been solved many times - maybe it's too late in the night - but I can't figure out how it might work to create this pattern.

https://www.klostermann-beton.com/de/referenzen/Duesseldorf-Koe-Bogen-I-Passage-Geschaeftshaus/

It's combined out of three different stones 60x20, 45x15 and 30x10 in seemingly random sequence. I can't get it running to have only one type in each row and change the type randomly with also slightly shifted stating position...

Can anyone help to get this done?

Best regards
Alex

Hi Alex,

Having the Random Parameter set to Generate on Array Y Row linked to the Selector Operator with the Index exported will do the trick. To shift these randomly, you can use the X Fixed Translation value generated for each Array Y Row in a similar way. Attaching a sample scene. Hope you'll find it useful.

Best regards,
