Mmm Ok i've a look on a solution like that but i've always the problem of the half textured one...
Sometimes it's falls right, sometimes not... Maybe an element or an option to slice hard and cap-hole the meshe to the extreme point of the spline (maybe an option to pad in or out...) In that case we can build everything from a spline like shingles, bricks, stones, wood...
Should be cool :)

If you have some style with that problem, please upload the scene and we'll take a look to it. Theorically, these cases should be resolvable without adding new features. If not, we'll evaluate it as well.
