Gap between elements
« on: August 07, 2017, 11:48:06 PM »
Hi,

Im doing the 2.15 12 exercise of next steps with rail clone. The file is "chapter_2_brise soleil_start"
The exerccise is about Mat ID, but for practice porpouses i tried to make the style from scratch using the elements of the scene.
I almos got it, but i cant get ride of the gap between elements. It can be done mostly with padding but on the original style was not did using padding. I have compared every paramenter and i cant find what is it. I found that are the segments small and large brackets, but i dont know exactly what is it!

I attach my file.

Cheers,
Patricio.

Hi Patricio,

The X Fixed Size is set to a very small value, so when Display Unit Scale is set to meters it appears to be a 0,0m, but it's 0,1mm. Setting X Fixed Size of the "Large Bracket" to a similar value (like 0.1mm or 0.01mm) should do the trick. Hope that clears it up.

Best regards,
