Allignment of mullions on a complex building shape.
« on: September 13, 2022, 04:58:54 pm »
Hello,

I have a building that has some START/END (1) elements that prevents some of the mullions to be alligned (2).

How can i allign all the mullions on each floor, since the length of splines are different due to that START/END elements. I´ve thought on refining the spline, but don´t really want to.

Maybe, there is a threshold for adaptive to work on length of a spline. Not sure  :P

Looking forward to listen to some answers.

Hi,

I'm afraid adaptive will always give you this issue if the splines are different lengths. Instead you could try the following.

- If it's not already set up like this, make sure that the straight edge on the right of your image is the first vertex so everything starts aligned
- Change the Default mode to Tiled
- Use the Scale Final Segment macro to only scale the last segment in the array. All the others will retain their original size and should remain aligned.

I hope that helps. If you need further assistance, please feel free to upload the RC style and its associated splines and I'll take a closer look.

Best,
Paul
