Compose grouped rotation broken
« on: May 21, 2018, 12:17:38 PM »
I'm using the compose tool to create Pillars for a wall. I want the pillars to be of any height so it seems like using compose grouped is a neat way of scaling the bottom without effecting the top.

However 'Align to path' in the generator does not effect the top rotation. I expect that i should and this feels like a bug

Why does the top twist in the wrong direction ?

With 'Alight to path' on or off The top does not align to the bottom.

Arg I noticed the weird helper object after I loaded the file you sent me. I though it was to do with rail clone Beta.

I just scanned all my max files using the tool. I'm pretty sure the original virus came from you in this post https://forum.itoosoft.com/railclone-pro-(*)/inner-corner-issues/msg20865/#msg20865. If you haven't already it might be wise to clean your system

Unfortunately this issue is not going to be solved soon, but we will try to fix it future versions.
Workaround for now- use second generator for Top Part separately from first.
