Can't get anything here, keep getting "unexpected error, try minutes later".

You are seriously making download file lot more complex, not good at all  :o

Ok, got logged by launching updatemanager from max.
Now, offline installation just does nothing. I enter my password, set a folder, hit prepare, and nothing happens, stay greyed out, process 0% ...

 ???

I'm not sure "temporal" is the word you mean... perhaps temporary?

Although a more temporal solution would be preferable to a spiritual one! Made me smile, thanks.

I hope you didn't take it the wrong way... there was nothing bad intended. Just a friendly english correction.

If I tried any other language than english I'd make more mistakes than real words! In fact, my english spelling isn't that great and it's my first language!
