Use more than 1 surface - possible?
« on: April 22, 2022, 02:09:29 PM »
Hi Guys

How do I use more than 1 surface?

I have a fence spanning terrain, and the terrain is made up of various bits and the fence should follow all of it...

As a workaround, I could copy all terrain components and attach it into 1 and set it to not render, and use this dummy object as my surface, but the terrain already has couple million vertices as is

Hi Morne,

I'm afraid at present only one surface can be used. As you've identified, if you need to keep the originals separate then the workaround to handle that at the moment is to combine them as a non-renderable dummy object. The ability to add multiple surfaces is on our wish list though!

Best,
Paul
