I appreciate padding becomes redundant when using a clipping area but is there a way of faking this?
Would love this to be an exportable parameter without editing the clipping spline.

Hi,
You can achieve this by adding an empty Segment to the Bottom inputs and using the fixed size setting on X and Y to create a gap at the bottom of the array. In RailClone 4 you can use a Transform node instead of a segment node too (useful for Macros)

I hope that helps,
All the best,

Thanks for the reply Paul.
Sorry I didn't make myself very clear.
I meant the opposite so it overhangs the outside of the spline at the bottom.

Ah - in that case, I am afraid not. Internally Clipping is the last function to be processed, so anything that overhands an edge would get removed. There's not really a way around this except to create the roofs using X/Y splines instead.
Hope that makes sense.

Yes unfortunately it does.
Thanks Paul.
